Below are a list of frequently asked questions about helping with the Love Pantry?

How do I donate food?

There are baskets along the hall near the entrance to the Worship Center. Donated food items can be left in these baskets at any time.

Who Should I talk to about the Love Pantry?

Bethany Nadeau is our lead servant over this ministry. She is a member of the missions committee and can be reached by calling the church office and leaving a message with Dana (864-288-1543) or via email to

Where do I take the food to?

Donated food is given to church members in need, and all the extra we take and deliver to area food pantries. There is no exact rule on which ones we take to, but people often take food to certain centers because of factors like critical need of a particular pantry or its proximity to the home of the person dropping food. If you have any questions, feel free to email the office for help at

How do I bag up the food for delivery?

All the food is put into plastic bags before it is delivered so we can keep a basic count of how much food has been donated through the pantry. Plastic bags are lightly filled to prevent breakages (about 4 cans per bag). I’ll soon add a photo on here of a sample. If your unsure work alongside someone who has done it before or email me. We take extra food to area pantries, so leave some in our own cupboards for people who are in our church or come by in need. Always bag food out of the cupboard first (older food is taken to shelter and newer food left behind to ensure nothing expires).

Do I need to file out anything with I sort or Deliver the food?

Yes, there is a clipboard with a pen on the inside of the cupboard. Fill out the number of bags you are taking, print your name, date, and where you taking the food.
